Easter 2002 earned the usual "thumbs up"
from your jeffthomas.com proprietor, despite that I can't get that Kenny Rogers' song
"The Gambler" out of my head since spending the day playing cards with my
family. Here are some highlights.
You've got to know when to hold 'em ... know when to fold 'em ...
Grandpa and Grandma join Aunt Marguerite and me, as Marguerite makes me
promise not to "poker" with my thumb. Meanwhile, Dad says, "I'd
rather be playing Yahtzee!"
Marguerite and your host, during a moment of prayer. [I mean, it
was Easter, after all!]
A trio of totally unconvincing poker faces.
Did I mention that it was also Grandma's 90th birthday? We
celebrated with only the finest rabbit food.
